There’s no shortage of water-filled fun to pass the day away in Niagara’s South Coast. Whether you’re looking for a laid-back afternoon by the lake or an action-packed fishing trip with your buddies, you'll have no problem finding something you like. If you love the waves as much as we do, and you want to get away from the shore, make sure you rent a paddle board, canoe or kayak from one of the local clubs. Licensed divers with scuba gear will be surprised to find an abundance of beautiful underwater scenery and historic shipwrecks awaiting them.
Dock for the day at one of the many marinas dotting the South Coast. Or, set sail for a morning of lighthouse discovery along the Lake Erie coastline. With two lighthouses in Port Colborne and the historic Point Abino Lighthouse in Crystal Beach, the echoes of marine history resonate strongly here.

Niagara's South Coast is situated on treaty land. This land is steeped in the rich history of the First Nations such as the Hatiwendaronk, the Haudenosaunee, and the Anishinaabe, including the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation. There are many First Nations, Métis and Inuit from across Turtle Island that live and work here today. Niagara's South Coast stands with all Indigenous peoples, past and present, in promoting the wise stewardship of the lands on which we live.
